Q: “What is fascia (fa-sha)?”

A: “Fascia is a thin connective tissue that surrounds our organs, bones and muscles.

Fascia is sensitive and when the body lacks mobility or suffers an injury, the fascia will become tight, constricted and it will fester.

This is how our bodies get adhesions or “knots”, frozen shoulder, lack of flexibility, etc.

These are just a few of many reasons bodywork is so important and beneficial to the longevity and health of our body’s.”
